New feature: Multiselect for label condition options

Michael B

Overview

Starting from version 2.42, it is possible to set multiple values for different rules associated with the label display conditions option.

With this multiselect feature, it becomes much easier to set complex label display conditions where several rules and values are involved.

Note: if you update from an earlier plugin version, all previous label condition options will be converted automatically. On the frontend, all conditions will work as before, so there will be no disruptions for end users.

How to use the multiselect feature

The process is very intuitive and should not cause any problems.

1 Open the needed label edit page.

2 Find the Label Conditions box and set a new rule like Product Category, Product Brand, etc.

3 This label condition allows you to set several values. For example, we want to show the label only for products with the Accessories and Clothing product categories. In this case, set the following condition rule:

Product Category -> In list -> Accessories, Clothing

4 Now just save all the changes and check your label - it should be visible only for products with the specified categories attached.

Note: you can leave the value field empty. In this case, with the 'In list' operator, the label will never be visible for any product. Vice versa, with an empty value and the 'Not in list' operator, it will always be visible for products.
